Rest in the Lord today.
They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30-31)
Trust in God this week.
Fear
not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will
strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous
right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
Ask God to help you deal with your struggles.
Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)
Set your heart on what God wants for you.
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6)
Spend time in prayer.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. (1 John 5:14)
Don't be a slave to temptation.
No
temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is
faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but
with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may
be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Seek God above all else.
Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! (1 Chronicles 16:11)
Love these! I totally will be remembering these verses!
ReplyDeleteI like leaving little notes here and there around my dorm. That way if I happen to look up I can see something encouraging :)
DeleteI looove Isaiah 41:10 - so, so encouraging! Also, you didn't ask, but the verse I've been focusing on lately is Ecclesiastes 3:1-12, because it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to read that, thanks for the suggestion!
